One Month Review

I've been living at Hampton Court for one month. They were very helpful at first. Wendy was gracious, efficient, and available before the lease was signed. Once I moved in, things have changed. There is no on-site management as I was told there would be. They are low on staff or something, and so they frequently leave the front unattended and keep odd, unpublished hours so you never know when you can find someone to solve an issue. It now takes a week to get a returned phone call or an email. Maintenance workers broke a window when they were sealing it shut (child danger issues and legal changes - not their choice) and it hasn't been fixed two weeks later. They use WEB services for laundry machines, but the card they issued me only works in one washing machine on the 3rd floor and 1 dryer on the first floor. They say they can do nothing about it. I have to mail it in to WEB and wait for a replacement. They promote the fitness room as a benefit, but the treadmill hasn't worked a single day since I moved in on June 1 and they have no idea when it will be fixed.
That said, the apartment is very nice, the pool is clean and comfortable. The deposit on the apartment was reasonable and the parking situation is good. I like it here, I just wish they had followed through on the customer service aspect which is what sold me on the place.
