I consider myself fortunate to have found South Hills Villas using this web site. I have lived here just over a year, and it's like all the others said. Clean, quiet, well maintained (they even supply and change the light bulbs for you). I had a leaky bathroom faucet (minor) that was fixed within a week or so, and the garbage disposal had to be replaced, which took two days. The manager (Jerena) is a sweetheart. The rent was 1,450 in 2007, and it was raised to 1,495 in 2008. That seems to be in line with other places I have rented. My floor plan has the living room and kitchen downstairs (with a patio), and two bedrooms upstairs (each has a balcony). There is a tiny 1/2 bath downstairs, and each bedroom has its own bathroom. One has a stall shower, and the other has a tub/shower combination. There is plenty of closet space (one is a walk-in), with storage cabinets and guest closets upstairs and downstairs. Each unit has a private garage (not a carport) with entry directly into the apartment. Each unit also has one assigned parking space adjacent to the apartment, and there are a few additional parking spaces for visitors. Parking is strictly enforced, and cars are towed if parked against policy. Overnight parking on the street outside the complex requires an permit from the city. If each unit had its own washer/dryer, it would be perfect. There are 3 or 4 small laundry rooms (each with 2 washers and dryers) scattered among the 40 or so apartments in the complex.
