TOTALLY RUINED MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/5/2003 Years at this apartment: 1998 - 1999   I lived in these apartments for 1 year. It was by far the worst in the city. I.V. would have been better than this place. The managers were rude and noisy. They had absolutely not respect for students who worked and studied/ had night classes. People complain that you are walking upstairs at all hours of the night if you live upstairs and are merely taking groceries in your apartment and you get an eviction warning. They have roaches, not to mention termites (not surprising since everything is made of old deteriorating wood.) The managers do not fix, or should I say know how to fix anything, so don't ask.. you'll get it taken out of your deposit at the end if you do.(Do like I did and have your Dad come and fix it so you know it would be fixed right the first time.) If you want to let your car warm up and defrost your windows in the winter... a manager will be bold enough to walk to your car and reach in and turn your car off.. They have no respect for their tenants or their guests. As for the apartment... the bedroom is too small for anything larger than a daybed. Don't even think about a desk or sofa or coffee table.. if you do, you might as well live outside because you won't have any room to walk. The is not air conditioner and it gets hot in the apartment so take a fan even though you won't have room for it if it oscillates. No cabinet space. You're guests have to walk through your bedroom to use the bathroom. And don't think about closing your bedroom door.. It'll hit your bed every time. Want a roommate.. FORGET ABOUT IT.. IT IS TOOOOO SMALL.
