It's a good place but expensive From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/6/2001 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2001   There was a time when people would beg to be let to stay in this complex. Now, for the first time you see "For Rent" signs outside. The place used to cost about 1300 when we moved in (2 years ago into a 2-bed place). It's almost 1500 now - we're leaving soon. Lots of people are leaving because of the rent. The apartment itself is very good. I'd dare say it's the best one in Goleta. It also happens to be one of the few complexes in Goleta which is actually maintained. They're prompt with fixing stuff. It's inhabited by families with children and some UCSB students. It's also very quiet. Has great access to the airport, train station, shopping, grocery. Walking distance to the beach also. Nice walkeable neighborhood. If you're working in Goleta and can afford it, this is the place you want to be. I agree with the other guy - it's noisy when planes are landing but there are only about 5-8 noisy planes a day.
