We lived at Pacific Oaks for 2 years before relocating to the Bay Area. They kept raising the rent and promising added ammenities, but we never saw the ammenties, only stalled construction on new facilities that had been promised to friends of ours who had lived there YEARS earlier. Granted, the Bay Area is also expensive, but we have twice as much space for only about $100 more per month. After reading older reviews, it seems like there has been an ongoing problem with keeping management there. The office staff seems to always be changing. That makes things annoying for residents as it keeps service inconsistent. The apartments themselves were nice, but getting WAY to expensive.
