To the previous comments: I don't agree with some of the previous residents. They talk about young kids living in the highlands at the age of 17. Living here on there own at that age is dumb. First of all any smart adult would know that you must be 18 years old to live in an apartment. And that person may have been the one that "The Highlands" evicted from here.
You will love living here. They are very understanding with your needs. I moved in on February 2000 I have been here for some time and have seen alot of improvements. But I have to say that there landscaping is beautiful.
They have a good staff and alot to offer. The only problem I have is the parking. When you have 2 cars. They only give you one assigned parking spot and everything is open. And at night time they are always soooo full. But other then that I love it here. I would tell everyone to live here.

I totally disagree with the fluff this reviewer has provided. i know for a FACT that the highlands rented an apartment to 3 young adults (2 were 18, one 17). Two of these kids (the 17 and one 18) has been on the job for LESS than 5 months. The other 18 year old has been employed at the same company for 13 MONTHS and makes slightly more than $10 an hour.
