While there are good things about The Highlands, there are bad things which outweigh the good.
My car was towed unfairly by West Coast Towing, who is contracted by The Highlands to remove any vehicles parked in the red. Although my car was not parked in the red, it was still towed, and the management staff did not even attempt to care. They told me I had to take my problems to the towing company, which I did. Of course, I did, but I could not get them to budge. The pictures they took were not taken from an objective point of view.
Yesterday my car was stolen from The Highlands. When I tried to talk to one of the members of the management team about having the gate fixed, she basically blew me off. She said that no matter how many cars were stolen, it wasn't a lot considering how big the complex is. Basically, her attitude was "It's not my problem." Well, I think that it would have been harder for thieves to steal cars if the gate actually was closed. Bottom line: I'm paying to live in a gated community, and instead the complex is open to anyone who wants to come in.
If you're considering moving here, don't. There are plenty of other places around with caring management staffs. This is the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. No contest. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn

Yes! I had my stereo stolen out of my car about 2 weeks after moving in. We were promised it was safe, gated, partnered with and patroled by San Bernardino County Sherrif's. B.S. And did the management care? NO. "It's not their responsibility" |
