So far so good...

I have been at The Highlands for about six months, and so far I have enjoyed my time here. It is not very often people will write a good review, but the minute something goes wrong everyone is prompted to talk crap. This place is pretty big- it's like a small city. I can't help but think that anyone here complaining wouldn't change jobs with one of these maintenance men. When I moved in my apartment was ready and clean, and since I have always received good communication between the office and myself. This place is older and I can understand that there must be a lot of work to be done in these apartments, but the location is great. I guess there is a new courtesy patrol because it has been a lot quieter in the past couple weeks. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH

While everyone is entitled to their onion it would be nice if you are going to give a comment on past reviews you would read them first. For example: the maintenance staff are great, no one really has a problem with them so that void out your comment. The problem is with the OFFICE STAFF! This is a big complex but I lived in the Highlands with my parents from 93-97. Ten years later I remembered how nice it was here. When I was looking for an apartment I came here. Let me tell you it is night and day. Nobody in the office want to help unless it to get your rent check and even then they won???t get up for you. They just point to the box and go on talking about their weekend. I also think anyone would agree that 6 months to fix a sink is a little ridiculous. And when it comes to the safety of a child don't you think a Bee's nest should be at the top of the list. If it was your child you would not be happy if he/she was stung and hurt or even killed. (I Read other tenants comments.)

You must be one of the lucky few, then, because we still consider our time at the Highlands to be a terrible one. We had abusive, noisy, obnoxious neighbors (whom the management would do asbolutely nothing about). Our cars were both broken into (gee, what happened to the "locked gate" we were all promised?). The maintenance guys themselves are fine, as the poster above noted. It's the office staff that is abysmal and uncaring. I'm not at all willing to believe that in the scant months since we left, the Highlands has been magically fixed. Again, I just think you're one of the lucky few. For others considering living in the Highlands, I still give it a big fat thumbs down.

Geee.... sounds pretty funny to me that someone so lucky would have a great outcome from this place! It looks as if you only lived here a couple months. You will get your share sooner or later. That's if this is a RESIDENT'S REVIEW and not one of the OFFICE STAFF MEMBER'S trying to make the property seem appealing!
Good luck to you in the future!
