While I enjoy the quiet community and always feel safe, the office staff is horrible!! They were polite while they were trying to get us to rent, but now they make me feel as though I'm bothering them everytime I come into the office. Not to mention the fact that the manager is incredibly rude and told me that my kids (who sit on the grass and play with their toys most of the time) can't play outside the front of our apartment. They've been playing outside in front since we moved in in September, and they're just now deciding to enforce this so called rule'!!' The manager banged on my door and said, your kids can't play out here. The way that she was speaking to me was incredibly rude, and I told her so. She responded with a "you're rude, too". I told her that I wanted her supervisor's number and she walked away. When I got my shoes on, and started walking to the office she slammed the office door and closed the blinds.

Other than the rude office staff, living here is great. It's peaceful and quiet and maintenance does a really great job.

THANKS FOR THE INFO. GOT IT FOR MY RECORDS. YES, I TOO FOUND NO HOT WATER OR SOMETIMES, NONE AT ALL! THIS PLACE IS REALLY IN DISREPAIR! THE WINDOWS RATTLE WHEN THE WIND BLOWS - NO ENERGY EFFICENCY HERE! HAVE YOU NOTICED THE OFFICE AND LAUNDRY ROOMS HAVE UP TO DATE WINDOWS? NOT IN THE APARTMENTS THOUGH! THANKS FOR THE INFO!

I know just what you mean. It's called a "bait and switch" which is actually against the law. What you need to do is call the code enforcement for the city to let them know of the things that need to fixed that haven't because it is a code violation for them to not keep up the property. I have had many problems with my apartment from them turning off the water without notice to going hours without hot water. These are health code violations and grounds for lease termination due to uninhabitable living conditions. the management company is called Osage Tower, LTD. and the address is 75906 Via Cortona Indian Wells, Ca 92210. I suggest if you encounter problems call the department of fair housing and file a complain against the apartment management. They have already been contacted on a few issues so they are familiar with this complex and the issues they have.
