The office staff is terrible!

I found black mold in my apartment. I notified the office staff and took pictures (just in case!). They sent maintenance over to "fix" it - he cleaned it with amonia and told me that he would be back in a week or so to see if it had come back. No one ever came back to check.

So I went to the apartment to request that they REALLY fix the problem this time by replacing the drywall because my children are getting sick as well as any houseguests that we have (my father comes regularly and gets sick every time he comes over and sleeps in the room near that bathroom). They responded by telling me that there is no mold.

The manager came to the apartment while I was gone (my father was home) and she told my father that she thinks I'm just trying to get a new apartment and was very rude to him as well, even though he didn't even say anything to provoke such a comment. Then she called me later to tell me that she didn't see any mold and they are not going to fix it. I told her that it's not visible because I keep the place clean, but that last time they came, there was mold all the way through the drywall and we are getting sick again. I told her about the pictures that I took last time and she told me to show them to her. So I e-mailed them and then went to her office.

While I was in the office, the assistant manager, the manager and the maintenance man were all in there looking at the pictures. The assistant manager was agreeing that there was a lot of black mold (which there very obviously was because it covered a large area) and the manager was very arrogantly stating that she didn't see anything. I told her that I didn't like how she was treating me and she told me she didn't care if I like it or not and told me to leave the office. I guess she was done with me and I'm just going to have to live with the mold!

They also leave numerous notices on the doors about new "rules" about the children. The management very obviously doesn't like children because children are not allowed to play outside, ride bikes, skates, scooters or anything else.

My electric bill is $400 per month. I keep my A/C on 78 degrees in the summer and the heater at 70 degrees in the winter. The A/C doesn't cool the apartment very well. I've notified them and they just change the filter and act as though I'm making stuff up.

The electricity in half of my apartment stopped working, so they came and replaced the breaker box with one way too large!

When I moved in, there was an entire building burnt down!!! The other residents told me that it was due to an electrical malfunction. I wonder if they put a circuit breaker that was too large in the apartment!

It seems like they just keep getting worse and worse!! I agree that they have a problem with kids, I'm the one who wrote the review about her coming to my door telling me that they can't play out front. I have ignored them and allowed the kids to play out front because I see no reason why they can't. I have written a letter to the management company and they have done nothing. I included my phone number, and address in hopes that they'd do something about the staff, but I have heard nothing from them, and they obviously think that there is no problem with their staff. The address to their corporate office is left in a comment on the review called "The Staff", if you'd like to try writing them. You can also try calling the department of fair housing, and reporting the problems to them. I also have problems with the a/c not working, they came in and told us that the settings were wrong, they "fixed" the settings, but, to this day, I have problems with it not working!! I'm getting really fed up with all the negativity I hear about them, and the corporate office not doing anything about it!! Every person I've spoken to about the office staff has had problems with them.

I agree with is completely. Do you have cockroaches yet? Don't worry, they'll come in a few months if the mold doesn't kill them.
