Edgewater Isle

When I first moved in everything was fantastic. The office personnel was great, maintenance was above and beyond exceptional, and then last summer there were staffing changes. That's when things started going downhill, and fast. All the leasing agents are rude, they act as if they have better things to do with their time that provide people with help that they are paid to do. The "New Management" is a total joke. If you don't mind having to call back several times and being treated with utter disrespect to get your problem resolved, then I suppose there isn't an issue. I've never lived in a place where you'd rather not deal with any of the office personnel at all, than be treated like a child. The " lakes and ponds" that they advertise are green and appear to be a sanitation issue, and a good breeding ground for mosquitos. My refrigerator had RUST on the seal and on the inside of it, and I was simply informed that "there was nothing that could be done about that." My closet rods were continually falling off of the mounting device, they never worked properly, and I couldn't hang up clothing with it in constant disrepair. The shower doors fell off the tracks several times, I was asked to not put my damp towels on them anymore, because they were too heavy. It only took them two attempts to finally screw a bracket into the wall, so they wouldn't cave in on you while bathing. Upon move out, they do combine all the deposits that you've put down for gate remotes, and anything else, and you DO NOT get it back. After having hired a maid service to help with cleaning, I wound up owing them more money???? After several attempts to resolve this issue, I was told that "Company policy is enforced here." It's too bad that the corporate office doesn't get some people in there that don't mind assisting people when they have questions. Overall, the general outside appearance of the apartments are not bad. Stepping into them is like a scene from the twilight zone. Renter's beware, move here if you feel that you can bear with the poor treatment that they offer here along with their overpriced, aging apartments. Good Riddance.
