The floor and the bath tub is very creaky. It's loud when the people upstairs are walking around or taking a shower, and I feel bad for the people who live below me.
The walls are also paper thin. In my bedroom, I can hear the conversations next door (especially at night) even though my neighbor is speaking at a normal volume.
In the winter, the bedrooms are freezing cold since the windows are single pane. Also, moisture easily accumulates on the windows overnight which caused mildew on my window sill. I have to wipe it down every morning.
They only allow one covered parking spot, and only 2 assigned parking spots max per apartment. Otherwise, you have to park in the street (where several cars have been broken into). Parking spaces that are not covered are very small, which makes it difficult for me and the people parked next to me to get in and out of our vehicles.
If residents park in visitor parking, you get a citation from the office stating that your car will be towed if it isn't moved. And they DO check. My roommate received a citation for doing this. Additionally, my boyfriend, who was visiting for a week received one of these citations for parking in visitor parking even though he WAS a VISITOR.
Finally, the living room and bedrooms do not have lights. You have to buy a floor lamp, and plug it into the ONE socket that is connected to the light switch.
I hate this place.
