Poor Management - I wouldn't choose this place in hindsight From: loveHB Date posted: 7/6/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008   There are numerous problems here, but they generally fall into one gategory: neglectful, young, inconsiderate management. And it has changed since I moved in 2 years ago. In 2 years, they still have not replaced or repaired the broken gym equipment. If you walk through the place - try out the gym equipment, if you plan to use it, before you sign a lease! There is no fan or A/C and my 17 yr old son has become nauseated when working out. We are a family of 4. I am in my 40's, and not into party life. We must call security to quiet the drunks fairly often, since we go to work early. The upstairs neighbors drop beer bottles and they smash on our patio below. Not once have I paid late rent, but I have gotten numerous threatening letters stuck to the front door. When I call to ask why, I am always told to forget it, it was a computer error. Parking is ok, but a tow truck driver recently told me the apt's get a 20.00 kick back for every vehicle they tow. THAT may be why they tow so quickly! Your guests MUST park out front & endure the walk. Dump divers are frequent, but they are quiet, just digging in the always overflowing trash. I have had my softtop top sliced while my convertible was parked outside, and a bike was stolen from the porch. The swimming pools are filthy and nasty with broken and missing furniture. The laundry rooms are slow to be repaired, quick to take your money, and have cheap machines. This has been our overall worst area, due to the numerous times the machines eat money!!! And then you wait for the company to mail you the refund. I am just at the end of my lease, and eager to move away. I think if you are young - college age - it would be ideal. Not really so for a family.
