ive lived hear for half of my lease and wish i could get out. the manager is always leaving notices and threats on doors, never friendly, our neighbors are loud. ive heard people doing "it" when i go to do my laundry (that is way over priced to use) because the windows are shutter type and do not seal.trust me, this place could be awsome because of the location(walk to beach, grocery, schools), but this place really sucks because of extremely bad management. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn

I have lived here for almost two years and have never had an issue with the management. If something is bothering me then I go to them so that it can be resolved immediately. I think that it is interesting that the manager is always leaving threats and notices on doors because I have never received any of theses. Perhaps they were trying to keep the enviroment safe and quiet, like so you don't have to hear people doing "it?" Did you ever let the management know about the issues that you were having so that they could be resolved? I just think that there is generally a reason people are receiving notices and the management becomes unfriendly when requests blatantly ignored. Especially when you have to deal with this on a daily basis. Management has never been unfriendly to me. From what you say this place sucks because of extremely bad management but from what I'm getting at you didn't help any problems. If you aren't helping then you are hurting. I love this place and I love the management.

I pay them, they work to make sure this stuff never happens, they are not paying me to fix problems, but im glad you are sooo in love with that idea, you must not work for your money.
Dont waist your time on this place, it really isnt that great. see, im helping people so they dont get screwed over like alot of people that rent do. The management here acts like you work for them, they are probably the worst ive seen.

You can tell that the first comment to the parent post probably comes from someone in management who reads these ratings sites. In any event; they do have a point about letting them know about "issues". If you don't communicate your problems; then they go unchecked. However, management is also culpable for their conduct with tenants if they don't solve, respond quick enough, or inform them of adequately. The street goes both ways. The key is to be proactive and interested in making your own living situation better if it isn't already. You will pay a lot to live here and getting the most for your buck is paramount. Giving management feedback within reason helps. When you take this approach in a positive way ( not negative ) and are refused or stone walled by them; then it's time to leave. Good customer service and good experiences should go hand in hand most of the time.
