I have lived in anacapa for only a short while, but have dealt with noise from the garages around me and pests on the property. There are cockroaches all over the place outside, but thankfully only a couple of them have made it inside.

The worst thing for me so far is seeing a mouse on the property on 3 seperate occasions by our mailbox. I have given the mailbox key to my husband and refuse to go by the mailboxes ever again. If you are touring the property, take a look around at the little black boxes hidden under trees and in corners, they are mouse traps and they are there for a reason. I have lived in many apartments and never had such a fear before.

Lastly, parking is a nightmare. If you get home after 7 or 8 at night, you will not get a spot. If you are considering leasing here (don't), but if you must, drive through at night and see if you will even be able to find a spot. Be warned, if you park anywhere you shouldn't, you will be towed (and it isn't cheap).

Look elsewhere, there are better complexes with better management.

That's funny... I have lived here almost a year and never seen a cockroach or a mouse. ????? There is a little noise from the garage but i only hear them 2-3 times a day... at least we have a garage. Also, I have never had a problem with parking. I live across from the pool and every once in a while on a Sunday afternoon all of the spots will be taken, but it's only until everyone leaves the pool. Also, everyone does have a garage so there is always one spot for every home. I really love living in these apartments and I honestly have never had any of the problems that you have had. As far as being towed... yeah, you can't park in a handicap spot unless you are handicap... and that is everywhere. Good luck... you will probably never be happy. This is a great place for families. It's quiet and within walking distance to Target, parks, restaurants, movie theaters... pretty much whatever you need is within walking distance. The property is beautiful and quiet. The pool is nice with nice barbeque areas. You can actually have friends over for a barbeque and not feel like your haning out with the other residents at the pool. I would highly reccomend this place.
