Though I had my share of discomforts with the leasing staff.

- They are timed to be with you and complain there manager will get mad at them
- They should be more knowledgeable of the grounds, services and ammenities
- It is a bit of a pressure as of course they are here to make a sale and lease out..but they dont need to act like car salesmen about it
- Managers need to talk to you more and less about you or in the 3rd person while you are standing in front of them...also...more personable with visitors

Thoughts about complex to improve...

- OPEN THE GROCER as it has been promised since 2006 that it would open
- Do not charge for small conference areas and the theatre to be used more by residents
- Enforce the parking in front of the buildings as they say 15 minutes to one hour
- Keep the club houses open a bit later and the game room as well...maybe 11 to 12!
- Make the gyms stay open passed 10 as well!
- Clean up the dog poop or outlaw them in certain areas as all it does it degrade and kill the grass as no one is responsible

These are the only negatives except for the regular apartment living that goes on with noise, needs, etc. It is not very noisy, but it is still apartments.

The leasing offices and the resident service offices are completely separate entities. There is one leasing office, whose job it is to get you to lease an apartment, imagine that! Each community within the Village has its own dedicated resident service office; once you move in, you never have to deal with the leasing office again if you feel so crappy towards them. And had you actually LIVED here instead of just passing through the leasing office and posting a nasty-gram based on your experience, you would realize that these people are extremely quick to remedy any problems. Just recently we had a crew come through to clean all the soot from the common areas that accumulated as a result of the recent fires. They didn't do so hot of a job in front of our unit (we're at the end of the hall, and they didn't quite make it down as far as we would have liked. We sent an email through the myrentalliving.com site, and the NEXT DAY it was cleaned up spotless. We've been here for over 6 months now, and still have no complaints.

I would say on the response above that my note above is not in poor taste...I am talking about my experiences prior to renting..if you noticed I gave a positive note and yes on living here....maybe you should state your comments in your own forum and not as negative feedback to my experience..if you like this place so much..post your own!
