VERY NOISY

I have been living here for 11 months now and my renewal is coming up do. I am not going to renew because Cambria is very noisy. I can't speak for Serena, Del Ray, etc. but Cambria is definitely not the one you would want to move in to. It's the oldest of the 4 buildings built, the visitors parking is always packed and super dirty with vomit. I live far from the elevator which makes it difficult for a female to bring grogeries up and my apt. is way far from the elevator and trash bin. Yuo might want to consider living closer to the elevator...and the Cambria visitor's parking elevator takes about 2 min. for the elevator to get you because that is the main elevator, which annoys me.
The first few months it was peace and quiet, that's because no one was living above me. After the 4th month. I hear banging, loud music starting as early as 8pm, a couple arguing 3-4am and my side neighbor complained and said it was me! I live myself, i'm a single female and I just work and go home. For the high rent that I pay, I would at least want some peace & quiet. Cambria is mainly 1 bedrooms, bachelors I would say, Fridays nights are the worst! they have friends over. come on!!! It's a 1 bedroom, go out and party instead of bringin friends over! I like the staffs and security will always pick up your calls but its a headache to having to wake up in the middle of the night to make that call! I'm fed up with this place. My boyfried lived in Cambria near the streets and the traffic is pretty loud too. If your a light sleeper, this place is definitely not worth it!

I live at the Cambria as well. Couple of comments: You are absolutely right about loud and annoying neighbors who blare their music The difference I have seen from previous apartments I have lived at, the Cambria staff is always quick, polite and ready to assist with problems or late night noises. I know within 10 minutes the noise has subsided whenever I have called. Regarding the cleanliness of the place, I think each one of us as a tenant have a responsibility to expect our guests and we ourselves to treat our living space with care and consideration. The management has come down hard on people trashing public areas like the swimming pool in the past. I think excessive loud noise and disturbance of peace is a sign of rude and inconsiderate neighbors. Such tenants who repeatedly violate this should be asked to leave instead of good tenants leaving the complex. The village stands to lose if good tenants leave. I would add though for management to strongly advise new and existing tenants what are not acceptable behaviours with noise or trash pollution and the consequences of violating the rules. If each one of us take ownership of keeping our living space clean and report promptly if someone is trashing the parking lots, elevators or other public areas I think we can help the management in fixing the issues. If you see something call the office. They have no way of knowing if we do not tell them. I believe part of our high cost is because they have to provide so much clean up services because tenants and their guests leave the premise with trash around instead of the appropriate receptacles. I have had nothing but good response from management whenever I have reported a problem. To all the tenants at the Village my challenge is, let us take ownership and responsibility to keep our living space friendly, clean and considerate. We really live in one of the most stylish and well built and friendly communities in one of the most desired areas. To management my challenge is to take strong steps against repeat violators of Village Apartment living rules.
