Some good...mostly bad

Toscana seems nice at first glance. The leasing staff seems willing to do anything to get you in the door. Yet, once you sign the lease, it's a Jekyll and Hyde situation. Problems are not responded to in a timely manner, yet they then go back on their "48 hour" promise. My dishwasher flooded my apartment for the first two weeks after I moved in. The apartment was FILTHY, as if they hadn't ever cleaned it. However, there was new carpet, which was a nice gesture. The apartment above mine flooded, which left me with a puddle in front of my front door which no one really seemed to care about. They finally told me that someone would be there to fix the problem. I waited...and waited...and waited. After several phone calls, I was finally informed that they wouldn't be fixing it until the next day. The same thing happened when they were supposed to fix the hole the plumber had left in my ceiling. It was supposed to be fixed on a Thursday and was not fixed until the following Tuesday. The biggest inconvenience is that the parking garage is now shut down and no one will say when it will be opened. Not only is it super annoying (everyone has to fight for close visitor parking or else be forced to park on the street BEHIND the complex) but it's also very illegal. There is now no handicapped access to the building.
These are very important issues that I recommend people consider seriously before signing the lease.
