Great So Far

I have lived at Turtle Ridge for around six months and I really like it.
This complex is pretty expensive (even by Irvine standards), but you basically get what you pay for here.
You get a tile kitchen counter (not plastic), wooden floors, an individual washer/dryer, and many other amenities.
You also get to live very close to the Newport Coast area, which is basically the most upscale part of Orange County.
Here are some small downsides:
(1) The garages are really small and it may be tricky to get into them if you have a car that is larger than economy size.
(2) This complex, like many other IAC ones, has problems with ants.
Nothing serious, but it can be annoying at times.
(3) The gym is nice (free weights, cardio equipment, etc.) but is relatively small for a complex this size.
Very nice pool, however.
(4) We are right next door to the Mariner's Church, which means a lot of traffic on Sunday morning.
Also, Bonita Canyon Road is a rather narrow two-lane street and it can be a real pain to drive on sometimes (one slow driver can slow everything down).
(5) Not a huge amount of community spirit, but that's pretty normal in these types of upscale complexes.
Other than the above, Turtle Ridge is a great place to be.
And, as the prior poster stated, there are a lot of beautiful people here! I wish I was one of them!
