Great place to live

We haven't really had too many problems here at Turtle Ridge.
When we first moved in, parking wasn't a problem.
However, over the year, we have seen about 5 families move in, so parking is harder to come by, especially because not many people use their garages for parking (they use it for storage).
If you can get in on a deal, the price isn't too bad.
However, it's nothing to write home about either.
Just be forewarned that you have to pay for all utilities (which is common in most larger run apt complexes nowdays).
We have a dog, it costs $600 deposit and $50/mo pet rent.
If you want two pets, it's an additional $75/mo pet rent.
I know we are good about picking up after him and making sure he's not a nuisance, however, I have seen other tenants just let their dogs go, off-leash, and not pick up after them.
So, although the grounds are beautiful, don't walk on the grass.
Ants: we had them when we first moved in, but nothing major.
One or three in the bathroom.
We laid ant traps and they were gone within a week.
Maintenance: our a/c stopped working...unfortunately three times during our heat waves.
They fixed it, then it stopped again.
Fixed, stopped.
Fixed...been working since.
Overall aesthetics: It's not "ohmigod great", but it's not shabby either.
Everything is new since the complex is very new.
All appliances work fine and are good enough for me.
Noise: thank gawd we have double-paned windows.
We're on the third floor and above Newport Coast, and can hear the 73 VERY easily.
With the windows open, it's tolerable during the day.
However ,we must shut them to sleep.
We also live near the playground, so with more kids moving in, we hear them too.
Sometimes as early as 7am.
I rarely hear my neighbors thru the walls, and one neighbor didn't even realize we had a dog (that's a good thing).
We're leaving, because we're buying a home.
Otherwise, we would stay another year.
Oh, we have a 1bdrm den.
hence the higher price.
