We are here since 2 weeks and have signed for one year. It's really beautiful and very clean. Although we see many people with dogs we have never seen dog crap. The barbecues are each day cleaned like new. The pool area is not overcrowded. The apartments are really good equipped with washer and dryer inside. All apartments have a garage, so there is always enough place to park outside. We have two daughters and they love it here. All apartments are expensive in this area but this is the best one for the price.

glad you like it, the first two weeks seem nice, write back when they try and raise your rent at the new market rate rent, or you try to move out and want your deposit back. parking seems good some days, its hit or miss, i see drunk people walking all over the place so the mix of drunk college kids and children is not for me. i hope the place gets better but the price is high so you should expect more. however glad you like I did love the place my first two weeks. then it turned in to hell and a money pitt pay more it will cost you less in th elong run.

Dear Anonymous, I am quite new here at Turtle Ridge also. I wish I had never found this site, as I keep coming to it to read the comments, and I find they really upset me. I keep waiting for more bad news, and here I am so new to the community, and feeling like I made a terrible choice. I wish you would identify yourself and have a talk with me, so I can find out all the bad news about this place and get it over with, once and for all.....I'd be glad to tell you who I am and which apt I live in, so we could chat.....or chat by email.....Hey, I've lost sleep over your comments about this place.....

I have been here for almost 2 months and let me say that I couldn't agree more with the rater. I am dumbfounded by these comments that are so negative and think that the people who are so unhappy are probably very difficult to please. I guess if you are a miserable person, you will find things to complain about no matter what. Since I moved here I have met most of my neighbors and almost all of them have lived here for years..a few have even been here since the complex opened....but without fail every single one of them has had nothing but positive things to say about this place. Let me contest a few things mentioned in these comments: -I have NEVER, not ONE TIME seen "drunk people walking" anywhere... -There are children but they don't run rampant, I have never seen a child unattended on the property, not once...and we moved in during the summer. -A money pit? You RENT! You have fixed costs! They will replace the lightbulbs if they burn out. Are you complaining about them raising the rent when your lease is up? There is no rent control here, my dear neighbor. It's to be expected that rent goes up after a year...and your deposit? Let me just say that when I moved in, this place was immaculate, the cleanest place I have ever moved into. If you didn't restore it to the same standards, then eat the loss...it's not like they require first and last...it's like 500.00. Ok, lastly, "Pay more it will cost you less in the long run"!? I really can't NOT comment on this. What are you TALKING about? You RENT. You have fixed costs...where would you be saving money by paying more that would somehow equal out to lower unexpected or "fringe costs" that would somehow lead to paying less in the "long run". Go ahead, try to find a place that is more expensive. They will probably charge you for your deposit too. In my experience, things that don't make sense usually aren't true. -The rater said he/she has a garage and so of course parking is good for him/her. Aside from that, there is ALWAYS parking available in front of my unit. If you did not pay for a unit with assigned or attached parking, then you really can't complain. It's not like you have to park across the street at the church. Walk a bit, it's good for you. -Finally, to the person who is losing sleep over this site. I suggest you live here and experience the community for yourself instead of listening to these people. Have you had any first hand experience that leads you to believe you made a terrible choice?? Please, please don't listen to these whining people on here...they clearly have nothing better to do and it seems they have come kind of agenda.

I agree with you that that one rater is off base with some of his or her comments, but I absolutely agree with that other rater who posts just complaining about the parking situation on the right side of the complex (to the right of the main gate when entering). I urge you (and everyone) to patrol the complex very late at night...every night. You will find illegally parked cars. Cars parked either in red zones or parked in front of their closed garage door. Turtle Ridge has never enforced the parking rules here. Never. They never ticket. They never tow. I agree with you that there is always parking available at the main office (one does not have to park at the church). But many people over the years are too lazy to walk, so they illegally park. I am not exaggerating...and I have even submitted pictures of the illegally parked cars over the years. The staff does nothing except passing out the occasional warning letter.
