Yo!

Over-priced units, rude, patronizing and incompetent management.

HOW TO ENJOY YOUR STAY AT VILLA CORONADO:

1) NEVER CALL MAINTENANCE. EVER.

2) DON'T HAVE ANY PACKAGES DELIVERED. EVER.

3) DON'T USE THE AFTER HOURS NOISE COMPLAINT NUMBER TO COMPLAIN ABOUT YOUR NEIGHBORS BLARING THEIR MUSIC AT 3 IN THE MORNING ON A SUNDAY.

EVER.

4) DON'T TRY TO TAKE AN EXTRA COUPLE SECONDS TO SAY "HI" TO THE MANAGEMENT WHEN YOU DROP OFF YOUR RENT. YOU'LL JUST MAKE THEM MAD.

It's amazing how your phone calls with the management change so drastically once you become a resident.

When they're trying to fill the place they pretend they're actually interested in you. They start out as the most cordial people on the planet. Once you move in, don't plan on doing anything more than dropping off your rent check.

We've had 3 different calls that we've made for maintenance and noise complaints for our new neighbors in the three years we've been here. Each time we were treated like we were annoying little children. In all my years as a renter I've never been this insulted and put off by a management team.

Want anything delivered to your apartment' Forget it. We've had packages stolen from our doorstep, so then had requested that all packages be left at the office.

When the office marked future packages with the WRONG apartment number, we were again treated like dirt. No apologies, just a very patronizing, condescending attitude and WE were being told that it was OUR FAULT!

Bottom line is the management could care less about you. You don't matter to them once you're a resident. You're a checkbook and that's it.

The units are also WAY overpriced for what you get. (That's the Irvine Company for ya', though.)

NOW, ON THE PLUS SIDE:

1) Parking hasn't been too much of a problem for us.

2) It's close to a grocery store and a shoppping center with great Japanese food and a salon.

3) It's close to the freeway.

4) Water pressure is average.

5) Rental fridges, washer/dryer, microwave, and stove are decent.
