The Bad Stuff: The apartment, like many Irvine apartments were beautiful. Very pleasant, very quiet and very safe. However...from day 1 of our move-in...we had an ant problem...which of course no one bothered to mention. And I don't mean just ants in the kitchen...ants in our bedrooms, in our living room...trails of ants outside our door, in our shower and even in our closets and all over our clothes!!! We were girls...so of course we weren't disgusting and gave the ants a reason to climb over everything. Raid was always on hand in our apartment, and it became liveable after we sprayed all the cracks (under the counters, light fixtures) with Raid, but pretty annoying considering how expensive the apartment was. When we first looked at the apartment, we met with the rudest IAC representative I have ever met. The community manager no less was rude, unresponsive and we almost didn't move in. The only reason it wasn't a problem was that we never saw her again..and instead dealt with the very pleasant assistant manager.
The Good Stuff: Parking wasn't the best, but it wasn't bad either, considering they gave us a covered garage. Maintenance requests were taken care of very quickly and the location was great because it was right across the street from Ralphs and right next to the 405.
All in all, the apartment was OK. You definitely get what you pay for because it was a very luxurious apartment with many amenities...but I'm not sure if I would live there again.
