By far the worst place I've ever lived. Termites and mice

This place was a nightmare from the beginning. When I signed the lease, I wasn't able to view the actual apartment because someone was still living there. I specifically told the leasing agent that I didn't want to be near the road because I'm a light sleeper. Well come move-in day, what do you know, my bedroom and balcony are directly on the road.
After moving in, I noticed while on the balcony that 666 was carved on one of the walls. I asked maintenance to come paint over it. I had a 12 month lease and it was still there when I moved out. Both toilets leaked water. I called maintenance about this several times and that problem was never fixed either.
As with most apartments in Orange County, I also had an ant problem. I wasn't expecting to have a problem with mice though. When I called maintenance about this, they acted as if it wasn't a big deal and told me to call them if I caught one. I caught about 3.
Then about 6 weeks before my lease was up, my bedroom became infested with termites. There were hundreds of termites in my bed and in my closet all over my clothes. I called the office immediately and the lady I spoke to just laughed at me. She said they were harmless little bugs that don't bite and that it was too late to call an exterminator. I couldn't sleep in my apartment that night and had to stay at a friend's house. The next day, I went to the office to see if they had called an exterminator to come out, but apparently Newport Exterminating doesn't handle termites, so I had to wait another day for them to have a termite specialist come out, and again I had to stay at a friend's house. Someone finally came the next day and told me that my bedroom walls were infested with termites and that he would have to speak with the management about what course of action to take, and that the apartment manager would contact me later that day. She of course never called me, so I had to go into the office to ask what was going to happen next. She said someone would come in 2 days to drill holes in my wall and fill them with some sort of chemical. When I explained to her that I had to be out of my apartment for almost a week because she decided to take her precious time to get someone to come fix the problem, she made it seem like termites were no big deal and that I could have stayed in my apartment. I'm sorry but when I signed my lease, I didn't agree to sleep with bugs swarming in my room.
So a couple days after they drilled the holes in my wall, I noticed there were still termites in my room. I went to speak with the manager again, and her way of fixing it was to send two maintenance workers up to kill the bugs with their hands. This went on for about 6 weeks with me complaining and her sending up maintenance workers, and there were still termites in my room when I moved out. I was never compensated for not being able to stay in my apartment or for the cost of having all of my clothes cleaned. The manager of this apartment complex is the most incompetent person I've ever met in my life.
I can't think of one good thing to say about this complex. The staff is rude, parking sucks, and it's extremely noisy. Stay far, far, far away from this complex.

Yup there are termites all over my unit too!!!! It took 4 days for them to send a Termite guy out to fix the problem!!! Nasty. And yes, this apartment complex is very very noisey. Parking is a battle after 5:30pm. I agree with this rating 100%.
