Woodbury Lane has been a joy to live in but some of the responses on here are correct, but residents should remember that this is apartment living, some things are expected when it comes to that.

Fire alarms in some of the buildings go off, but not more than once every 2 months or so. The only time they really went off a lot was during the wildfires, and that was understandable with all the smoke, dust and fires less than a mile away.

Parking could be better, there are rarely spaces available at night, but what do residents expect when their garages are completely full of boxes (yes, i've seen numerous garages with no space for a car in them) and the residents then have to park outside. Management talked about a parking program but it still has not been put into effect.

Noise is a problem in the courtyards, especially when you have neighbors that can't shut up and talk like they are shouting. You really have to keep your windows open to hear them. The construction between apartments (walls and floors) is great. I had neighbors with 2 kids that I would NEVER hear. The mother was worried that they were loud but it was only in the corridor that I could hear them.

Speaking of construction, the new community across the street (Stonegate) does not blow that much dust over into Woodbury. I leave my windows open all the time, and the only time I get dust is with the Santa Ana winds (try escaping those in Southern California, not gonna happen). The construction is very well done, many fine touches, real tile not linoleum, crown moulding etc. I never had an apartment with luxury finishes but it makes it even more welcoming.

The grounds are beautifully kept, and the gym is very nice. I have not had any problems with the equipment being broken. Anytime I go in, there are maybe 2-3 other people in there (in the evening after work). The maintenance staff is excellent and have always fixed my problem, or gotten me new appliances, immediately. I had a leak in my garage that was stopped the next day. They forgot to patch the hole, and I kept forgetting to remind them to do so, but once I did it was done and painted the next evening. Great quality work is done as well!

The office staff has always been such a pleasure to work with. They know their community and many of them live at Woodbury Lane, which is evident in the pride they take. I have been very impressed with their responses, and if they do not know an answer, they will spend the time looking for one.

Overall, I would highly recommend living at Woodbury Lane. The floorplans are unique to Irvine Company apartment communities, which makes this complex very desirable. The customer service is top notch, the location is awesome. The rents have increased over the time I have been there, and I am hoping my rent does not increase TOO much when my lease is up as I really want to stay. I am in real estate and with 3 new apartment complexes opening across the street, I would expect rents to decrease, but we shall see what direction the Irvine Company takes.
