Don't move here

I found all kinds of structural defects, shoddy workmanship; contractors were too busy to finish building this place that they took absolutely no care. Appliances falling apart even though everything is brand new. Walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors doing just about everything. Loud music, vandalism in the clubhouse, drunken girls crying in the parking lot in the middle of the night, firetrucks. Mailboxes a mile away from the complex, and slots so small, you can only put small standard letters. They only starting renting this summer but felt we had to move out. It was horrible. Don't move here and be a sucker!

I believe you are extremely misunderstood. The mail boxes at this complex are right under your apartment, and not a mile away fom the complex. You should make sure you know all the correct facts before posting such a review.

The previous comment probably meant to say "misinformed" and not "misunderstood" and could have been written by management, which wouldn't surprise me as they didn't seem to be the swiftest bunch. In any case, the original poster is correct that some mailboxes are far from particular units within the complex and NOT always in the same building where you live. Very inconvenient. I believe the anonymous responder is the one who should get his/her facts straight before writing. I agree with the above post: Don't Move Here!

I completely agree with this review. I've been a resident here for a few months and already I feel: Honestly, I gave this place too much credit for an Irvine Company apartment community. A friend of mine lived here for some time, and I really thought it was a beautiful place to live, near it's own local shopping center, first class amenities, etc. However, I am much different from the typical 'orange county' resident who doesn't have much of a live aside from partying, jogging, raising kids to do whatever the want, etc. At this time in my life, my lifestyle consists of serious studying and going to work full time. With that said, I mistakenly chose(what I took to be) a luxurious, expensive, nice apartment community in which I can call home. This place has kids running around everywhere from early morning until (what I have personally witnessed) til midnight or later (2:00am). These kids restlessly scream at the top of their lungs, running around most of the time unsupervised. Someone like myself coming home from full time work and school each day, expects a nice home to come back to; however, I am finding myself calling the community patrol officer/irvine police station quite often for noise complaints. If you sound like a person who has no responsibilities and is looking for a nice, FUN party place, sure, this place is for you. However, if there are any other students or young adults who work and have a busy life, look at all the other amazing apartments (smaller community's, perhaps) that will give you the peace and quiet you deserve.
