i moved in aug 05 to aug 06. I lived in a jr. 1 bedroom unit.

pros:
1) new apts. the facilities are still somewhat clean
2) good access to all the freeways. no problems with traffic
3) ample amount of parking. even though some people don't park in their garages, theres still parking available. I can't say this about a lot of other IAC places.
4) growing woodbury community- theres tons of parks/community centers/etc. around.
5) its relatively quiet.- yes i hear my neighbor upstairs but overall, its pretty quiet.
6) gym is open 24hrs w/ towels.
7) its safe. well, all of irvine is safe. the only crime here is the real estate prices.

cons:
1) midwest yuppies. a lot of the license plates are from texas/midwest. i agree w/ the last reviewer about them cramping the area.
2) majority of this place are large families. i don't know how they squeeze into such a small space.
3) the walls are SUPER thin. i hear the garage opening below me and people walking up the stairs. i also hear the thumping footsteps of my neighboor upstairs. this could be a big issue for most people
4) bugs- this place has tons of spiders and i have ants in my place that i don't know where they come from. i live on the second floor and they still make their way up.
5) expensive. did i tell you i'm paying 1340 (now 1390) for a 500 sq. ft apt' (Irvine is just overpriced in general)
6) people driving crazy in the parking lots. is it necessary to rev. your engine'
7) trashcan/mailbox is kinda far. not a big deal though.
8) garage is not directly under my own apt. i have to walk around the building to get to it.

overall, i havent heard a lot of partying or ruckus since the place is full of families but who knows, it can change. in fact, the people that were around when i moved in, have all moved out and i'm seeing some younger/couples move in. i was lucky cause my neighbors were quiet. I didn't really know my neighbors either because they were from china (didnt speak english) or large families.

but i'm feeling cramped, my wallet is drained and its time to move out before it gets worse.
