Brooklake Apartment is a corporated owned real estate. They have 2 more properties around the area maybe with different names. The manager(Henry) of this complex needs attitude adjustment big time. The whole complex is under his supervision and he runs the whole show, we as the resident has to listen to what he told us to. Example: 1. Last Winter, when called to inform him about the broken heater, a days later the maintenance crew came to check and told me that parts need to be change and they don't have it in stock because the management doesn't allow him to keep spare part in stock. Moreover, the part is a back order, since the complex was built in 1972, because it an old part. And all he could say was "I am sorry, nothing I can do at this time because there no part for it". and when asked why don't you just change the unit' he answered "We can do that becuase the coporate doesn't allow to do it." I had to go to Home Depot to get myself a portable electic heater. Now I had to spend more money on the heate and electric bill while paying my gas bill because it's a communitiy bill. If you don't you use it you sitll have to pay for it because it devided equally through out the comples. Any wayt, a month later they got it fixed after I got sick like a dog. 2. Laundry facilities are full of ----!, most machines doesn't work and they don't refun you back what you lost. Most of the residents I talked to about the laundry, they suggest to do it out side better, cleaner, and cheaper and more efficient. 3. Jacuzy, supposed to be close at 10pm every night but 90% of the time close at 9:30pm. Daylight Saving time, forget it. They don't pay attention to it, as of now, it closes at 9:00PM.
