Regents apartments become condos - you can't make silk purses out of these sows ears' apartments.
Integral Communities/Integral Partners, the condo developer, is dressing up these small units with run-of-the-mill stainless steel kitchen appliances, upgraded countertops, woodwork, crown moldings, and wall surfaces. So what'
Nothing changes the fact that these condos are TINY, resident parking is inadequate (if you're considering a two-bedroom, you might get stuck with tandem parking), and guest parking is virtually non-existent.
The construction quality is poor...you will be able to hear your downstairs and upstairs neighbors close their doors, sneeze, run their bath water, and smell their cigarette smoke. You will hear EVERY step your upstairs neighbor takes.
When your guests come to visit (assuming they can find an on-street parking space and don't drive away in frustration, as on-site guest parking for the 500 units numbers only 20 spaces), you will discover that you have no place to hang their jackets! Yep, you could spend $500,000 on a condo without an entry closet! Wait, there is no entry - your door swings open right into the unit!
Don't buy here, hold on to your money, the UTC condo market is saturated, and buy somewhere else for less money in 2005.
