Decent Complex in a Good Location

Older building with good size units of average construction that have seen a bit of normal wear over the years. Usually a quiet complex, but one can occasionally hear noise from adjacent units, and sometimes pool parties can get a little loud. Otherwise rents are reasonable and complex is located in better area of La Mesa.
Landscaping was excellent prior to December 2005. New gardener is mediocre. Grass gets cuts and bushess trimed when high, instead of frequently. Debris from trees often accumulates, but eventually gets picked up.
Management changed in January 2006, replacing long-term (20 years) managers, so things are different. Some very important things like replacing old bathtubs were done, along with painting, tree trimming, etc.. Overall maintenance is good. New rental agreements were signed and rules are being more strictly enforced, which appears to be a problem for some tenants.
