My boyfriend and I moved in here 6 months ago. Exactly 2 weeks after moving in, we found out (from a neighbor) that this place was in escrow and about to be sold to be converted into condos. We signed a 13-month lease... so it felt like a bait & switch. We still live here but are actively looking for a new place. Finding something comparable has been difficult. It's really too bad that these had to be converted. This complex is the nicest place in La Mesa (or anywhere in East Co. for that matter) and reasonably priced. The grounds are beautiful, the apartments are in good shape, and the management had been generally helpful. Don't think about buying a condo here... way too pricey for a glorified apartment.

I have lived here six years and have loved every minute of it. Managment is great as well as the maintenance team. It is a shame they are selling. But it has been a great ride and I will stay till the very end!
