I loved living at shadow mountain. When I started living there rent was 1000 for a one bedroom. The apt was small but my neighbors were great, the area was quiet, parking was the best I have ever had at any complex, and management/ the maintenance guys were extremely nice. After 2.5 years of living there they needed to raise our rent to 1105 and they were going to tack on a 100$ fee to live month to month. My fiance and I just graduated from college and our jobs were unstable so we had to move. I tried to talk the price down but there was no budging on managements part until the day I was having my final inspection and they asked if there was anything they could do to get us to stay.... too late. Luckily they were great with the security deposit and only took out 125$ for painting and a special cleaning to get the pet dander (from my cat) from the carpeting (something all complexes have to do incase the next renter is allergic).... I miss my apt.... Also, my oven broke on thanksgiving. I was making the yams for my fiances family and the maintenance guy had a brand new oven in my apt within the hour!
