This place sucks!

I have never lived in such a crappy place- the only thing going for this place is the schools. They call the units 'renovated' which only means cheap paint, cleaned carpets, and awful, cheap appliances. People constantly move out- this place is like a storage for Uhaul- their trucks are always in the parking lot.
Management is about as bad as it gets- the lady in the office is sweet as pie when she's trying to rip you off and get your money, but as soon as you're in, she couldn't care less. Nothing ever gets done, the parking situation is awful, and it's forever 'under construction'- now it's the pool, which is nothing more than an eyesore.
You never know who your neighbor is going to be tomorrow, because they're always moving. I hear that the rent goes up big time the minute your lease is up- it's not even worth paying the original price- let alone an inflated rent. There are TONS of great places in Lafayette to rent- don't get fooled by Park Lafayette.
Oh yeah- and there's no such thing as Shamrock Dog Park (as advertised on the website being within walking distance).
