City living in the heart of Lafayette - I have lived at Town Center since 2003 and LOVE it. If you enjoy city living (walking distance to everything including BART), this is the place for you. Its the newest complex in Lafayette built about 6 years ago I think and rather quiet (cannot hear upstairs neighbors, or any neighbors for that matter). The apartments are expensive but the location cannot be beat; all the best ...Full review of Town Center Apartments

They are okay, just a regular apartment. - I would recommend this complex if you have older children or are married/single. The apartments are updated but old and on pier and beam, so the floors shake, even on the lower floor. If you have smaller kids, everyone can hear them run around etc. We felt perfectly safe here and grounds are fine. You can hear upstair neighbors walk around even if they tiptoe. I have heard of other ...Full review of Lafayette Highlands Apartments

Stay away - I would advise you to not consider to move into this complex. I lived there for 2 years with my daughter. I really like my apartment complex, and felt good to be in. I took a lot of pride in decorating it too. Unfortunately the manager Patti, is unprofessional. The times that I asked for some repairs to be made, she dealt with it in an unbelievable matter! Straight out of a trailer ...Full review of Lafayette Commons Apartments

Now called Park Lafayette Apartments - I've recently moved to the Park Lafayette apartments and have found the transition great. I'm in a 2 bedroom unit and the apartments are very dog friendly which is wonderful - in fact the vet is only 1 block away. As with any move in, I had a couple of small issues which were taken care of very quickly by Nancy, the manager, and Jonathan, the maintenance man. I have ...Full review of Park Terrace Apartments

-Anonymous- says: good if you have kids disagree. This place is older and you can hear the pipes in the walls, but there is a different landlord who is very reasonable and maintains the complex well. I would say its a little over priced which comes with the territory of living in lafayette. As for the ..full review of Acalanes Apartments

-Anonymous- says: Great place to live! I really enjoyed my stay at this complex. It was generally quite for the 1.5 years that I lived here.
