Went down hill when Shea bought it. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 11/29/2005 Years at this apartment: 1994 - 2001   I lived here from about '94-2001. Before Shea bought the place the neighbors were great; quiet & respectful of each other. We loved the first few years there. Once Shea bought in the place went into a downward spiral. They made some cosmetic upgrades w/paint & some new equipment in the gym but nothing to justify the $500/mo rent increase over 3 years time. I had the same experience w/the staff telling me that if the tub got stopped up again they would charge me for it. It hit the nadir when the mgr moved in downstairs from me. He would play his music at all hours of the day & night. His wife was a nightmare. They would argue at all hours, too. She wound up getting committed when she threw his crutch out their window, breaking it. He was always a jerk to me and there was nothing I could do. Seeing her being carted out on a stretcher after being sedated was the last straw. We moved soon after.
