WORST EVER!!

1. Condition of Unit - Here are just a few:
* I am UPSET (although NOT suprised) to read about the recent murder that the leasing failed to disclose to me when they knew that I was moving in with my 2 very young children. Reading these reviews only reinforce my fear as my husband told me that several men were staring him down when he was driving our son home from the park today.
* infested with BUGS of all sorts which are not controllable with spray or 'the bugman' (mainly: roaches, spiders, crickets, silverfish, ants, termites and many others).
* you can hear everything!! everytime the upstairs neighbors go to the bathroom, when and if they wash their hands, and shower. luckily our upstairs neighbors have 10 people living there and they are all very clean concious and take lots of showers, at all hours of the night, consequently this wakes up my 2 yr old every night. it is so loud that you can audibly follow the water down the wall as the water pipe squeals above you.
* besides the sirens you hear every half an hour or so, you also hear cars all night long and very loud sound systems bomping through the parking lot.
* leak from upstairs bathroom caused major flood in our bathroom * gated fence (to street) missing bars on several ocassions * closet shelf fell off and even after fixed it is loose again * fan in bathroom did not work * slide screen door was bent when we moved in and will not stay on track * window screens all bent * cupboards fell off exposing many many nails, unable to reapply the front board didn't fit and required maintenance to fix it
2. Security - Do not think for one moment that these police increase your safety - the leasing office explains before you move in that they have police patrolling the complex for an extra perk and added security. They are here because the complex is bombarded with disturbances amd hoodlums!
3. Appearance - don't be fooled when the leasing office tells you how lovely the area is with all of the beautiful trees. The trees shed horribly and require you to vacuum daily due to the extreme amounts of tree dander (and slugs) that get tracked on the carpet (which I happened to be very allergic to)
4. Office Staff - depending on who you get that week in the leasing office (the staff changes very frequently) you are most likely going to get someone who is bubbly but rude and unsympathetic to your needs.
5. Parking - impossible if you have more than 1 vehicle. and inspite my parking sticker I found a threatening notice stuck to my car window which thankfully i found and reported before they towed me.
6. Internet - OMG! This town is owned by COX and they change to skylink - the worst internet service provider ever! Their technology is way behind and the internet goes down several times a day!!
7. Price - we pay $1265 for a 2 bedroom, for how crappy this place it should be way cheaper. I've been able to find several newer apartments for only $100 more a month (and that's becasue I am going to a place with w/d IN unit - I am so eagerly waiting to move) In my opinion now matter how much they lowered my rent - they could not pay me to stay here. My husband feels differently, he said if they lowered rent to $850/month (2bed) he would stay.
