I have lived here for 2 1/2 years and while it was quiet when I first moved in, it has not been for the last several months. I am on the top floor, and the neighbors beneath us either play their music or their TV so loud we can clearly hear it when we are home. The neighbors on the bottom floor smoke outside on the balcony, so our house constantly smells like smoke unless we close the doors. The smoker also coughs up a lung while outside, which is pretty disgusting to listen to. I have complained about the music and TV a number of times to both the neighbors directly and the office. The office tells me they talk to the neighbors, but the problem has not been handled. Also, people run up and down the fire hallway and let the door slam behind them even in the middle of the night, so good luck trying to sleep. I don't smoke or play loud music, am polite and courteous, so of course I have no rights. I am waiting out my lease which luckily is up soon and I am out of here!
