We have lived at Prado for about 3 years. The staff changes every other month. However, John and Carlos (maintenance guys) are awesome and do what they can despite the issues). The rent is risen every year with no property improvements. Recently, we have had 3 MAJOR leaks in our apartment (alone, the property as a whole has 20 major leaks in different apartments!!!). The answer to "fixing" the leaks is to cut a portion of the wall open (the source of the leak has NOT been identified), leave the wall open, leave a de-humidifier in your apartment to allow it to dry. The problem with that' The insulation was left in which was stupid because it's wet. The source of the leak has not been located, more water to come! Leaving the wall open is NOT GOOD FOR CHILDREN (mold issues, not knowing what's in the walls, etc). I CANNOT WAIT TO MOVE OUT OF HERE! Parking sucks. Some of the surrounding apartments have about 7 or 8 people living in a two bedroom which makes the parking situation worse. The water heating system for the complex is so old, the water is not warm from time to time which makes getting ready for work on those days lovely. Oh yeah, we have termites too. Nice touch. Do you think anyone has been sent to inspect the termite situation' Um no. So my point is, if you're moving here because you think it's great and the apartments are roomy (they really are, a two bedroom is about 1007 sq. ft.), you might want to balance out the bad. It's not good!
Oh yeah, who your neighbors are can't always be controlled, however, their noise level should be! Management will say they will take care of it but it is never documented. If you plan on living here, document ALL communication with management!!! BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
