whatever you do dont move here! its not what it appears to be. this advice could spare your safety, health and wallets. villa solana is not what we expected at all. when i toured the complex, it was clean and spacious. the unit available was nice, one bed, washer/dryer, carport...i thought a huge step up from our previous place. no. within the first month we regreted our decision.
1. Infestation: withing the first two months killed at least six giant spiders (bodies size of quaters or larger) every day. cockroaches, pincherbugs, giant centipedes and contstantly appearing. in my bed, in my cuppards, drawers, bathroom, in my bed, couch,everywhere. My boyfriend woke up screaming in pain today. We found that a pincherbug had crawled into his ear canal. he now needs antibiotics and a doctor's office visit to check for damage. tarantulas are constantly walking around outside. the office doesn't care about our complaints. they say ok, then have it sprayed but it doesn't get any better.
2. Parking: there are only 8 guest spots for 200 apartments, and since many tenants have several families living in their apartments, they park their cars in these spots for weeks on end. if you have friends that visit or have a live in partner, you have to dirve two miles up the street and park in the residential community. cars are towed for no reason. complaining to office does nothing.
3. safety: serious housing laws are being broken here. people loiter in the parking lot all day and stare at you. there are no lights infront of the units so i am always scared walking in/out of the unit when i'm alone and its dark out. neigbors come by asking to borrow money or use your cell phone or computers. very uncomfortable. feel like im being sized up.
the complex is nice looking and the staff are soooo nice, so you think your getting into a good situation, but you're not. they do take large pets, which is great, but if you keep looking you will find something else. trust me you don't want to live here. we're moving after only three horrible months.

Thank-you from preventing me from making a horrible mistake! I called and cancelled my appointment with them because of this website's reviews. I would never have known.
