O.K. but gas turned off twice in corporate rental and given 3 day notice when they should have called my company.

We are in a corporate apartment. This means that rent, utilities, furniture, even linens are included in my housing and paid for by my company. I've had the gas turned off twice as the apartment complex dropped the ball on the gas bill. Both times I was given a key to a model apartment where we had to go for showers and laundry until our gas was turned back on. Very inconvenient especially since we did not have gas for an entire weekend the first time.
And I received a 3 day notice after I moved into the two bedroom. This was a misunderstanding between management and my company. They should halve called my company but instead placed a 3 day notice on my door. Very unprofessional on the part of the apartment management service here.
The apartments here are fairly nice. My son and I were in a one bedroom until a 2 bedroom opened up. The two bedroom has two baths and a LOT more space.
The apartments are older. You won't find granite countertops, berber carpets or a concierge.
You will find the apartments are clean and spacious. My two bedroom is an upstairs apartment and I have a garage under my bedroom. That is my parking space. If there were two cars registered then I would also have a second numbered outside parking space.
It's fairly quiet here. The apartments are fairly soundproof and built for maximum privacy. One bedroom downstairs apt's are next to garages. Upstairs two bedrooms have bedrooms towards the outside so no adjacent apartment noise can be heard from the bedrooms.
Very quiet even during the day. Great for us nightime workers.
Two pools, one is heated. Two of 3 cardio machines in the fitness room do not work. Nice little multi-function nautilus machine.
Pool and hot tub have new pumps and are very nice. Gates are not working and we have had some problems mainly with teenagers not living here. Management and security have been responsive to complaints though. They are working on the gates but I understand that this has been a chronic problem. Otherwise, the fitness room problems, etc seem to be normal for an 18 year old apartment complex. They fix one thing and the next thing breaks.
Management is responsive to maintenance problems and maintenance is fairly prompt. The grounds here are kept really clean.
My neighbors are pretty polite. My 12 year old son has made several nice polite friends here. I have not had any problems with neighbors or children here.
Overall, I would recommend Laguna Gardens to others.
Update...they put a nice new Precor and Treadmill in the fitness room. However, they raised the rent (up $165 month on 1 bedroom) Overall still a good value for area.

I am not sure where you have lived before coming to Laguna Gardens. But, compare to all the apartment complexes in the neighborhood, this is the worst.
