we have lived in this small cramped apartment with a retarded floor plan. the maint. never comes when called even though they have a 48 hour rule. Amy in the office is rude to everyone that she speaks to and even will call you racial names. the manager lies to us all the time. the apartments are so small and they do not have any storage except a little closet outside. we left a barbie car out on the patio and we got a 3 day notice to remove or vacate. so children are not allowed to play. there is a serious mold problem in the apartment. in the bathrooms you will soon see mold ont he walls and ceiling and in the window ceils you will find a nice surprise of mold. but dont expect the mngmt to do anything. they will come and say we didnt find anything wrong, then tell you to open your windows more often. well when you work all day that is not a good idea. i like my property, i dont need people to break in. you will have to hire a person to come in your house and inspect the mold. oh by the way, that will cost about $600. then you willl have to threaten to sue them because they still will not help you out. eventually, they will see your serious about suing and move you to another unit.
they tell you that you have to use their fridge when you move in but soon after you move in you see other people with thier own fridge. when you confront the mngt they pretty much tell you, tough luck. dont move on the top level either. you wont get a washer and dryer. and if you run into a mint man with crossed eyes watch out. he will try to fight you in the laundry room if you take too long to take your clothes out.

You are complaining because you chose to sign a lease for a small apartment that has a poor floorplan? Isn't the apartment the same size and isn't the floorplan the same as it was when you signed the lease?

I am a resident here and I love the apartment that I chose. And just like the other person said you chose this apartment. And if you are so unhappy why don't you leave???? Theres a thought. Everyone in the office has always been friendly to me when I have gone in. Unfortunatly, uneducated and unhappy people go on these websites to complain. MOve

acutally no it wasnt the same as it was when we signed the lease. we were shown an model and could not see the one we were supposed to move into becasue it was being "remodled" on move in day were were very suprised, but we already signed the lease. and you cant just move when you sign a lease kim88. and they will be friendly with you here if you dont have any problems, but as soon as you have things go wrong and need them finxed, then you start to get on thier bad side. you have to go to the main office to get anything done. too bad thier one good employee was transfered.

kim88...I have posted on this website and I am a very educated and happy person. I think this website is very helpful to people looking to rent. Every tenant I have spoke with is disappointed with their experience at seaside. Just walk around and see all the empty units. The turnover rate at Seaside is astounding. To assume people that post on this site are uneducated and unhappy is in itself uneducated. Have you done the research...NO you are simply making a generalization which is ignorant. You can't simply tell someone to move. Living in the real world requires you to pay fees when breaking a lease...it is not that easy.
