Weve lived here for almost a year now. I would say that the overall feeling here is that its fairly crowded and loud. Its also a nice little neighborly place. Lots of working families chiefly. The main reason we chose Windridge over some of the other apartment complexes in the area was for the large deck. In the summer its pretty much another room. Plus you are relatively close to the beach.
The biggest drawback Ive found in living here is that the office staff seems to have a penchant for selectively choosing who gets to do what. For instance we have patio furniture on our deck -as do many people here. The maintenance staff seems to hand out notices to remove this or that from you decks on whims (lights, decoration, furniture, etc..). Although there are plenty of people that have similar items scattered about their decks. Its familial discrimination technically.
My neighbor has had his car towed twice in three months. Mostly due to the fact that his wife forgets to put the parking placard in the window. The system is that you get three notices and on the third they tow. It's $150 to get the car out.
