It seems that most of these reviews were written by disgruntled people. This is really quite a nice place to live and the units have more space than everywhere else. Management has made an effort to keep this complex well maintained. Since I have been here the elevators were refurbished, balcony railings were replaced, hallway carpets were replaced. Two room apts have had washer dryers installed. Parking was expanded by eliminating a little used tennis court and this management team has made a great effort to clean up a mess that was pretty much caused by tenants cheating the system, the driveways have been re-coated and re-striped twice,the pool area has been refurbished and new lounges replaced old ones. All of the lights in the buildings and apartments have been replaced with energy efficient bulbs and improved the appearance. The present management team seems to have upgraded their standards for new tenants. Many of the complaints that people stated in some of their reviews have been self inflicted by the tenants living here. It would be difficult for management to screen prospective tenants for their upbringing regarding their respect for property. The back walk through gate has been repaired several times and broken again each time because people either are too lazy to carry their key or don't want to take the time. Wherever you have people yow will have some problems but because the management and maintenance staff try to stay on top of things when vandalism is done it is minimized here. The maintenance staff has always been terrific and timely in repairing anything broken including replacing burnt out lights in the carports when they are made aware that they are out.

THIS REVIEW IS VERY CLEARLY WRITTEN BY THE MANAGEMENT ITSELF. THERE IS NO WAY IN THE WORLD ANYONE WOULD KNOW ALL THOSE LITTLE DETAILS ABOUT ANY CHANGES AND UPGRADES LIKE "CHANGING LIGHT BULBS" UNLESS THIS WAS WRITTEN BY THE MANAGEMENT. THIS PLACE IS HELL. STAY AWAY FROM IT! THE ARBORETUM AT LAKE FOREST IS TERRIBLE JUST ASK ANYONE WHO LIVES THERE BEFORE YOU SIGN A LEASE AND GET STUCK

I am not any part of the management here and have lived here for over five years and know all of those things that I mentioned because I've seen them all occur. Your telling everyone that I've been living in Hell all of this time and I've enjoyed myself here. I guess perspective is everything.
