I have lived here going on three years and just love it.. I'm at a loss of all the negative remarks about Emerald Court. I find the office staff so helpful. Jennifer is just wonderful at her job and takes the time to listen and help when needed.
My apartment is so quiet, the grounds are well groomed (minus all the dog poop).
The rent increases'' What increase. I'm on my third year here and my rent has been raised a total of $4. Yes, that is $4.

I wonder why you would post as an anonymous comment? I just moved out of that place and couldn't be any happier. It amazes me that the management is soo uncoordinated that they don't even have a clue of who is moving out or coming in for that matter. Turned in the keys, and guess what, what appartment are you, did you turn in your notice, did you receive a notice from us, and my computer isn't working so I can't process the paperwork. All comments from the incompitent leasing office. I feel sorry for the unlucky soles that are still there are those of whom get suckered into being there. If you like dealing with idiots in the leasing office, lazy maintenance guys, and a terrible apartment with mold issues (I say this because you should take a walk around the complex and see how many apartments are overflowing water into the parking lot due to lack of proper maintenance,) then this is the place for you. BTW - Did you see the dead rat in the swimming pool? Finally, maybe you don't drive a car and parking isn't a problem for you like it is for the rest of us. If your not home by 5:00, then guess what, park a mile away or park in the fire lane because management refuses to enforce the "Garages are for parking you registered car" policy. Public transportation would be nice, but they don't even stop in this area. Finally, You probably didn't have much of an increase in rent because they can't afford to loose any more tenants. I noticed at least 12 move outs in July and August. Now that's a turn around! Good luck to you and farewell to all!

I agree with ems4ty. People are constantly moving out of the place, just as I am trying to do. I think mostly because the managment sucks. And you comment on the poop - as miuch as the leasing office sends out thier notices they don't do anything about it. I've witness them and the maintenance watch dog owners let thier dogs poop on the grass and not pick it up and not say anything. I know because one of the maintenance ladies lives by me and one time I forgot a bag. She said nothing! Thats because her dog poops on the grass to. Don't live here.
