riveroaks used to be a pleasant and warm place to live...until the management changed. friendly people, safe, responsible management, quiet, and peaceful are words that used to describe this place. all has changed in the last 2 years that make this place uneasy. ive seen the management change 4 times since ive been there and i dont know where they get these people. no more plants on the balcony, no more guest parking...you need to go to the office each time to get a permit now because people abused this priviledge and ruined it for everyone, people stealing from your garage, loud neighbors, people direspecting pool hours till late in the night, broken spa every few weeks, residents leaving the pool gate open so their friends can use it later...who dont live there, slow service if you want something repaired in your room, a so-called cop that is suppossed to patrol the complex at night...but only shows up when he wants...driving a beat up car and the person driving looking like he just came from over the border...some protection, taking most of your security deposit when you leave to clean your room when you actually leave it clean...its there job to clean and pay for it when you leave...i dont own it i rent it, much more residents starting to smoke again, termites in the garage, etc.

all these things have pushed me out of a place that i used to love. its too bad. this is what you get when you let more and more white trash tenants into the complex. riveroaks is cheaper than most apartments in the area which is why its attraticing these people here. this brings me back to the management. they do nothing anymore. who hired these people' they are very mundane people who show no emotion at all!

i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. there are better apartments in the area with newer ammenities and nicer people. if you read the other reviews to river oaks, you can see everyone liked this place years ago, and now the reviews about this place are not good. this shows there is a consensus now about how people feel about river oaks. if the managmenet doesnt step up their game, this place will continue to fall apart.

its hard for me to say anything good about this place anymore, but something i will miss is the fresh mountain air because its close to the hills, and the 2 parking spaces you get with each room. dont let this place fool you into being an attractive and nice place to live. so be cautious with this place.
