Horrible management & maintenence From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/27/2005 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   Serrano Highlands – leases built in land of promises! Before you sign you lease be SURE to get your repairs you want IN WRITING before signing! ESPECIALLY when re-signing a lease. Air conditioning/electricity bills can get high. I recommend filter changes & often to get the highest quality from the units. (This is a “do on you own thing,” do not even bother to ask management! God forbid an extra .000003% of your RENT actually go to the MAINTENCE of your RENTED apartment.) Get used to a place called Home Depot! Be careful - there is a musician in one of buildings that effects surrounding buildings AND some sort of "Work from home construction worker" who works out of his garage every day, AND in that same area an apartment with “youthful home party entertainers, I’m thinking college ages” ALL over by the pool, so... if you like music, more than you like rest & peace in your own home... you will be happy in that area! Mailboxes are small and let’s face it we live in a junk mail work these days. Property management will not provide a trash bin next mailbox like 90% of other properties (go look you will see! It CAN be done!) I do not understand why' Its not like maintenance people cannot empty a trashcan full of paper every now & then, because they are too busy working on UNITS!!! **Words of advice for people rodent/insect friendly** move here RATS and SILVERFISH are here in abundance! So to sum it all up…. Move to Serrano Highlands you will love it if you have low expectations, and/or just do not know any better. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
