I lived at Lakewood Manor from May 2000 until November 2000. Very noisy, parking is the worst. I was lied to by the office when they told me they have 24 hour security patrolling the area. After talking with the guards, they say they leave around 2am.
My truck was stolen. Los Angeles Sherrif's helicopter circling with spotlight on is a nightly occurrance. Gunshots are heard every other night. Large Section-8 population.
Insects and dirt are very hard to keep out.

i live in lakewood and i thought id chek these places out,its weird because lakewood isint concidered a GHETTO city infact ppl i know all say lakewoods concidered a GOOD city but as far as the hayter st apartments its different,theres always thugs hanging out in the alleys,graffitti,drugs,and fights as well its like everybody thats ghetto from long beach and other bad citys all move to the hayter apts.i recently herd that hayter st.even had a gang called the hayter blokk crips,as far as im conserend just becuz the hayter apts are wanna be ghetto dosent make lakewood a bad city thers many nice and beautiful homes and apts.in lakewood!
