Lakewood Manor Apartments

Dangerous-the Ghetto From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/6/2002 Years at this apartment: 1994 - 2001   I lived at Lakewood Manor apts for over 5 years. The noise was terrible almost unbearable. The rent went up every year, infact, one year my rent went up over $110.00. I was the perfect tenant never later on my rent one time, and I never had any complaints from my neighbors. The only good thing about Lakewood Manor is the accessibility to shopping. The security was a joke. They were never able to be found when you needed them. The sherrif's were constantly flying helicopters over head and I personally witnessed several fights on the premises. There was what appears to be a gang and drug problem in the development. The only reason I lived there so long is because I was a single parent working full time to support my two young children. I recently got married and this was the perfect opportunity to move away from Lakewood Manor. This property has the potiential to be a good neighborhood to live in if the management was better. Overall, I would rate the management extremely poor. The office staff is very rude and uncaring. I would not recommend Lakewood Manor to my worst enemy.
