I lived in the apartment complex for less than one year. When I went to move out I noticed one weekend that the apartment was being cleaned out and maintance work was being done. I went to the assistant manager (Lisa) and she said there was no paperwork or cause for them to be in there. Well I called the alarm company and they told me someone deactivated the alarm. It was never reactivated and you can tell there was maintance work done on the place. I was told by the assistant manager they would look into this. To this day (8 months later) I have not heard anything. I just realized they reported me to a credit agency for failure to pay the rent. Well I never got a statement or phone call asking for the payment. I am now filing a federal law suit agains the property management company. I am also filing a civil suit against the manager, assistant manager, and maintance crew for breaking and entering, unlawful entering of a private residance, and punitative damages. This apartment mamagement broke a serious law that should questions the trus of there operations. I urge all potential, current, and past residence to look into and beaware of the management team. This is not a petty crime they commited but rather a serious federal violation. Having a strong background in law and a family history of lawyers this is not going to be easy for the property management company. I expect them to follow the laws and not do things the way they want. I will be pushing to the fullest extend the law allows.
