Former Tenant who moved because of the incessant rent increases and noise

When I moved into Larkspur Courts in 1990, they were pretty nice, and the rents, while a bit higher than many, were not exhorbitant. When they sold off the complex to a new group of investors, the rent increases came fast and furious. I think the only people who can afford to live there now are people getting subsidized by their company as they relocate.
The old management was the best! The later management, who seemed to be playing musical chairs with the Tiburon complex was adequate.
I hated the noise from 101, which pours into the quarry and is magnified like a microphone. I had friends that lived in some of the larger units towards in the middle of the complex (not the outside) and the noise was not as bad. The maintence men use the damn lawn blowers almost every day, so if you work at home get ready for earplugs.
They need to get a grip on the rents, and have levels below $2,000 per month for a one bedroom.
